  • The face masking status for the week of January 31 - February 4 is REQUIRED for students and staff.

    The school district will use a three-week rolling average of the positivity rate of students and staff, and if that rate is above 0.5 percent, then masks are required.

    The current average is 2.39%.

    Congratulations to William Lenoir student, Jazzy W. She tied for 2nd place at our county spelling bee today. She did a great job and we are very proud of her.

  • 8th Grade Parent Night for Hibriten High School

    8th Grade Parent Night for Hibriten High School For parents and students (currently in 8th grade) who are interested in attending HHS as 9th graders next year (2022-2023), and want to learn more about what we offer. February 15, 2022 6-7pm The meeting will begin on time in the Theater at HHS. Please park in front of the main office.

  • Black History Month Essay Competition

    Attention: The Black History Month Essay Competition sponsored by the Martin Luther King Center and City of Lenoir Parks and Recreation. "What Is the Most Important Civil Rights Issues of Today?" The Deadline for the Essay contest is Friday, February 19th, 2022. All entries MUST be received by 5:00pm.

  • CASA Parent Night (Caldwell Applied Science Academy)

    UPDATE: We have postponed tonight's 8th grade parent meeting until next week. The new date will be Tuesday 1/25. We will have a 5:30 session and a 6:30 session in room B104 on the CCCTI campus. Parents should rsvp for one of the sessions because they fill up quickly. They can call the office at 759-4640 to let us know. ** Masks are required on CCC&TI campus

    CCS Readers: It’s time to have some fun! Have you ever wanted to escape your daily routine and explore the mysteries in the world around you? If so, the CCS Virtual Book Club is for you! The CCS Virtual Book Club is designed for students in grades 4 -10. This begins the week of February 28th.

  • Yearbook Preorders are Open

    Yearbook Preorders are now open. Yearbooks are $30. Personalization and 8th grade ads are available at an additional fee. The cut off for ads is March 1st. The cutoff for personalization is March 11th. Visit www.buytheyearbook.com and enter code 703698 for our school.

    • Fill out the Google Form
    • Will require official proof of identity

  • Upcoming Holiday Schedule

    Students, staff, and families are excited about the upcoming holidays in December. The following days are local, state, and/or federal holidays observed in the Caldwell County Schools:

    • December 17 - Early Release Day that ends the 2nd 9-week grading period and the first semester of school.
    • December 20 - January 3 - Holiday Break (schools closed to students)
    • December 23, 24, and 27 - Christmas Holiday
    • December 31 - New Year's Holiday

    Students return on January 4, 2022.

    Did you know you can sign up for a public library card that gives your child access to thousands of ebooks and audiobooks as well as the resources the library has to offer? Here is the application. It can be turned in to Mrs. O'Quinn in the Media Center or taken to the public library. The email on the form can not be your child's school email. Please take advantage of this free resource for your children.
