    SATURDAY, JUNE 4, 2022 - 8 PM TO 12 AM, BO'S IN LENOIR

    The Class of 2022 is invited to Project Graduation on Saturday, June 4, from 8 pm to 12 am at Bo's Entertainment in Lenoir. No cost to graduates! You can bring a guest for $10. Celebrate until midnight with food, drinks, arcade, mini-golf, bowling - winning prizes: TVs, Chromebooks, furniture, etc., and CASH! If you register by May 17, your name will be entered into a $100 drawing.

    Summer Bridge Academy


    Summer Bridge Academy is a unique opportunity for students who will be in 6th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year.  This experience is open to all Caldwell County Schools students who will be in these grade levels.  Students will prepare for their upcoming grade level while engaging in interactive, meaningful activities throughout eight days. Students will be asked to commit to attending all eight days. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided.  

    Dates: June 20 - 30

    Times: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm

  • Legacy of Musical Talent Lives On!

     

    The Music Performance Adjudication (MPA) resumed this school year for in-person performances and band and choral groups from Caldwell County Schools ranked among the highest performances throughout the state.

  • Caldwell County Schools is now registering kindergarten students who will turn five years old on or before August 31, 2022.

  • Effective immediately - Face Masks are Optional

    The School Board held an emergency meeting today and the decision was made to make masks optional. This change takes place immediately.

    The school district will continue to monitor data and encourage anyone who wishes to wear a mask to do so.

  • Heart Health for Student Athletes

    Hundreds of high school and middle school student athletes are heart healthy to play sports as indicated by an electrocardiogram (EKG) that is an expanded option to the annual sports physical held on school campuses, thanks to the sponsorship and support of Blue Ridge Energy, UNC Health Care and Caldwell County Emergency Services.

  • Phipps Named Regional Superintendent of the Year

    Donald Phipps, Superintendent of Caldwell County Schools, was named the Region Seven Superintendent of the Year by the Northwest Regional Educational Service Alliance (NWRESA) for 2022-2023. NWRESA is an organization that provides professional services, staff development, and support for public schools in the northwest region of North Carolina. Phipps is one of eight superintendents in the state recognized for this honor and it places him in the running for State Superintendent of the Year.

  • Early College Graduates Earn $5 Million in Scholarships

    Seventy-five Caldwell Early College High School students were pronounced graduates at Commencement Exercises on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the JE Broyhill Civic Center. Most of these students completed five years at the Early College, earning them a high school diploma and an Associate’s Degree at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute (CCC&TI) at no additional cost to families.
