Antarctica - Penguins - South Pole
We learned a lot about Penguins and the South Pole (Antarctica). Antarctica is the coldest of the 7 continents.
We stood next to an Emporer penguin to see who was taller. The Emporer penguin is 4 feet tall!
Most penguins live in Antarctica. However, there are 4 kinds of penguins that live in warm places around the world.
The biggest penguin is the Emporer. The smallest one is the Little Blue (or Fairy) penguin.
There are very few animals living on the cold continent of Antarctica. The only people that are there are scientists conducting research.
