  • Welcome to the final week of school of 2019!

This week the homework is simple, take time to open up a good book with your kiddo if you don’t do that already. Want to know more of the many reasons you should try to make this a habit? Check out this article https://www.pbs.org/parents/thrive/why-reading-aloud-to-kids-helps-them-thrive.

Thursday is our Winter Celebration. If your child signed up to bring something, please remember to send it in on Thursday.

Friday we will have a Game Day. Students may bring a board game, card game, toy, or plush. NO ELECTRONICS! Only send in a school appropriate toy. If you have a question about what this is, please call me. We will also have a special visitor, Ms. Vines, who is coming to meet your kiddos!

Friday is also an Early Release Day!

Students do not return until January 6th, 2020. I will not be back until March. Ms. Lauren Vines will be here. She will continue to use Class Tag.

I hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday season!

Thanks for all you’ve done to make this school year a success for your child!

  • Please remember that homework is weekly. Instructions for homework were sent home last week and the first week of school. I will not keep posting these instructions because the homework does not change weekly. ONLY the words will change weekly. Please make sure homework is complete and turned in on Fridays UNLESS I post differently on Class Tag and our class website.
Please notice the papers on the "KEEP AT HOME" side need to be cleaned out. The "RETURN TO SCHOOL" side is for homework and any other items that need brought back.
Thanks so much for your help at home!

If you haven't already, I encourage you to sign up for Class Tag.

I usually DO NOT send home paper notes. Class Tag is my means of sharing information to you. Please contact me ASAP if you need paper copies of anything.

Our class website also has classroom news and dates. I do not post pictures on our class website. Certain features, like conference sign ups, are only available in Class Tag.

Please send all paperwork in this week as soon as possible.

Please carefully review the purple packet located inside of your child's Kings Creek folder. You can also download it here.
