Hello, and welcome to my class!  My name is Mr. Walsh and this is my first year teaching at WLMS, but this is not my first time as a Wildcat.  20 years ago I walked the halls of WLMS as a student, so I know the feeling of pride that comes with being a WLMS Wildcat.  I am a lifelong resident of Lenoir, and graduated from Hibriten High School in 2007, then I attended Appalachian State University, graduating in 2013.  I spent most of the first years of my career at Hudson Middle, before returning "home" to WLMS.  

I am a big sports fan, especially when it comes to Hibriten Football and Duke Basketball!  

For the 2020-2021 school year I will be teaching 6th grade Social Studies and Science, on a team with Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Boggs.  

I am very excited for this opportunity, and look forward to a successful school year!
