    Tryouts May 1- May 4

Potential Cheerleader, Thank you for expressing an interest in being a Granite Falls Middle School Cheerleader. The following information is very important. Cheerleading can be a fulfilling and challenging experience, but it is also demanding and disciplined in its nature. All of the documents, including your physical form (completed and signed by a doctor) and concussion statement form must be turned in by Tuesday April 24th. Please be responsible and turn the forms in on time or before the turn in date. You may bring the documents to the library or office before or after school. A cheerleading tryout clinic may be held before tryouts at GFMS. Tryout clinic dates are still not decided yet, check social media for updates (Instagram @granitefallsmiddlecheer, Facebook: Granite Falls Middle Cheer). We also need your teacher's name so we can send an email to them for a teacher evaluation. (you will be able to let us know on the google form linked in our Facebook and Instagram bio!) During these four days of tryouts, you will be taught cheers, chants, and will also be participating in stunting and tumbling. In addition to the material learned, each participant will have to perform required jumps. This material will be performed in front of a panel of judges on Thursday, May 4th. Those chosen for the squad will be posted on the GFMS cheerleading Instagram and Facebook pages. I have made a google form for the kids trying out please have that submitted ASAP! You can find the link to the Google form in our bio on Facebook and Instagram. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Prince mprince@caldwellschools.com. or Mrs. Frasure at  nfrasure@caldwellschools.com.  See you on Thursday, May 1st! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

    Sincerely, Ms.Prince and Mrs.Frasure!
