My name is Donna Hart, and I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993. That fall I began teaching in a K/1 combination class at Valmead Elementary. After that year, I moved to GES and taught fifth grade for two years. Then, I moved to fourth grade and have been teaching there since. This year I am beginning by 26th year. I truly enjoy my job.  In 2010, I received my Masters of Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. 

One of my passions is animals. I currently have 8 indoor cats and 4 outdoor cats. They are my "happy place"!
