Hi! My name is Mary Katherine Taylor.  I am the music teacher and choral director at Gamewell Elementary School.

I began my teaching career in 2012 as Music Teacher at Mull and Chesterfield Elementary Schools in Burke County, North Carolina.  I found my home here at Gamewell in 2016.

I have two degrees, a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts in Teaching, from UNC Chapel Hill.  GO HEELS!  

My main instrument is the clarinet, but I LOVE to sing and play instruments of all kinds.

 I live in Morganton with my husband, Brad; son, Ross; daughter, Evie; and two dogs, Roma and Kenan.

I am proud to be a Gamewell Bulldog!
