Hello, I am Laura Williams and this is my 24th year in education.  I have taught grades Kindergarten through Second Grade in New York and North Carolina.

I have been living in Hickory  for the last 19 years.  I have a husband and two grown sons.  The oldest has left the nest  and is engaged to be married and the younger one just finished college and will hurry out soon enough.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and dearest friends, traveling, and plopping myself on the beach at every opportunity. 

I am very passionate about teaching and will couple your child's education with lots of love and laughter.  I am firm but loving and my formers tell their parents that I'm silly.  And I'm fine with that label!
