I am Cherisse Christian, 3rd grade teacher at Gamewell Elementary.I am an alumni of Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6).

I have been teaching for 29 years…wow, I must be old…but I never get tired of learning and growing! My all-time favorite three students (my own kids) really taught me about living and learning and how you can’t separate the two. They are all grown up now. In fact, I have a grandbaby on the way!!! So, I am pleased that God has placed me here to continue teaching and imagining new possibilities with YOU:)
