I graduated from Glenville State College, which is located in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia! I taught in WV for six years before moving to North Carolina. I have been teaching at Hudson Elementary School since 1997. I taught fourth grade my first year at HES and this is my 23rd year teaching fifth grade.

I am married and have a son, step-son, and step-daughter and two grand-pups. I love spending time with my family, reading, walking, swimming, and traveling.
