School Announcements

  • TEACHER'S OFFICE HOURS

Our teachers are answering emails and returning phone calls, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm.

Teachers have office hours on Wednesdays, 8am - 4pm.  You may reach them by calling the office during those times at 754-6039.  Teachers will meet with you for a scheduled appointment on Wednesdays as well - in person or via zoom.

If you reach out to teachers on Class Dojo, Remind, or via email after 4pm, the teacher will respond by the end of the next school day.

Thank you for helping us maintain two-way communication!

  • IMPORTANT NOTE:  The Parent Portal in PowerSchool is a very valuable tool for parents.  Just like social media and other apps on your phone, it will give you notifications when grades are posted and absences are recorded for your student.

This not only keeps parents "in the know," but also gives parents a way to follow their child's progress.  You can download it on android, iPhones, tablets, desktops - almost any electronic device.

To get access (user name and password info), simply fill out this POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL FORM today.  If you have questions about PowerSchool grades or absences reported, contact your child's teacher.  If you have questions about accessing the portal, call our school office at 828-754-6039 today.

Give it to the KCS Band!

We would like to have "house instruments" for our students to use when they can't afford one of their own.  Did you play flute in high school, but now don't play at all?  Did Great Aunt Gertrude play the French Horn back in the day, but still has it in her closet, even though she hasn't played in 50 years?  Give these instruments chance at a new life in the hands of our students!  Contact Mark Crump (mcrump@caldwellschools.com) if you have something for us!
