  • All Items Due to WLMS

    ALL library books, chromebooks, textbooks and other school property needs to be turned into WLMS by this Thursday, June 4th. Items may be dropped off in the foyer of the building. You or your child should have received a phone call or email if your child has library books out. If you are not sure you may contact your child's homeroom teacher or Mrs. O'Quinn by email at moquinn@caldwellschools.com Thank you for your help in getting these items back asap.

  • End of the Year Folder Pickup for 6th-7th

    Starting Monday, June 8th - Thursday, June 11th (7:30-4:30) 6th and 7th Grade Students may pick up their End of Year folder (grade card etc.). Folders will be in boxes by grade level, and in alphabetical order. Thank you and have a great summer!

  • Attention 8th Grade Students and Families

    Important message for 8th Gr. Parents, Please come out and join our staff as we Celebrate our 8th Gr. Students! The parade will start off at our main entrance off Hwy. 64/90 (Taylorsville Rd.) and exit through HHS on Thursday, June 4th from (10:00 - 12:00). Students will pick up their celebration packets from their homeroom teacher as you drive through. This is an event you and your child will not want to miss! Thank you.

  • WLMS Cheer Tryouts

    Parents and Guardians, Due to guidelines set in place by the state, we will not be able to hold cheerleading tryouts as scheduled at this time. Please watch for updates concerning the new tryout schedule in the upcoming weeks. I apologize for any inconvenience. Mrs. Rich

  • North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League Race

    Our middle schoolers had a great time at the North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League Race #1 at Brown's Creek last weekend. Everyone finished with no major crashes and smiles on their faces. There was 580+ athletes participating Sunday. Our 6th grade boys raced against 55 other boys from all over the state. Despite pulling 39th as a starting position, Noah W. rode his way up to 10th! Lily W. placed 2nd in 7th grade girls and Owen M. was 12th in the Advanced 8th grade race. Amelia C. finished 6th place in the middle school girls advanced race! Also participating were Zachary W., Dane B., Cole M. and Zane O. They have all been training hard. Way to go!

    Congratulations to the WLMS Black History Quizbowl team for their victory over Gamewell Middle in the Quiz Bowl Competition. We also took First Place in the Art Competition. Great job students and Mrs. Stewart!
