SAT word of the day is glutton (GLUT en). The meaning of glutton is one who eats or consumes a great deal; a person having the capacity to receive or withstand something. Example: Every Thanksgiving it seems that most people tend to glutton on food.

STUDENT INFORMATION:
WCHS Theatre participated in the 2nd annual Caldwell County Drama Fest this weekend and received an excellent rating for their production of NC Spook Tales. In addition, Mitchell Cordell was awarded a $100 scholarship for his monologue performance, Braeley Crisp was awarded a $250 scholarship for stage management and Aubrey Carter won the $1500 grand prize monologue performance scholarship. Please congratulate these students when you see them for representing West Caldwell so very well!
On Saturday, the Warrior NJROTC competed at the Blue Ridge Harley Drill competition in Hickory.
The following are the results:
The Armed Squad, commanded by Sierra Adams won First Place
The Un-Armed Platoon, commanded by Rosa Pena won First Place,
The Freshman Squad commanded by Rosa Pena won First Place
The Freshman Color Guard commanded by Brett Watson won 2nd Place
The Armed Platoon, Commanded by Autumn Maupin won Third Place.
Warrior Navy brought home 3rd Place overall in the Competition.
