SAT word of the day is haggle (HAG ul). The meaning of haggle to argue about the term; dicker. Example: When buying a car, everyone attempts to haggle over the trade-in allowance and final price.

STUDENT INFORMATION:
"Johnson & Wales will be visiting West Caldwell this Friday, Nov 15 during 2nd and 3rd lunch. Any student who wants to talk to the representative but has 1st lunch make sure to sign up in the link below or see Ms. Vargas. She will call you out of class during 2nd lunch. Bit.ly/johnsonwalesatwest
Ms. Vargas has organized a field trip to North Carolina A&T and UNC Greensboro for 15 Juniors or Seniors on Monday, November 25th. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about their college application process and their campus life. Please see Ms. Vargas to grab a permission slip. You must have a 2.6 GPA and the cost to attend is $5. It will be a first come first serve process."

Students that attend the prestigious Maplethorpe Academy are constantly rated and updated daily on their rating for all to see. The higher your rating, the more valuable you are. But then someone vandalizes the front doors of the academy, and it sets off a reaction in which some students lives will be shaken.

SENIOR INFORMATION:
Caldwell Woman's Club scholarship is now available for a Senior male or female who plans to attend a 4 year college or 2 year/then transfer to 4 year college and is in the top 25% of the class is eligible to apply for this $1200 scholarship. See Mrs. Wakefield for the application and return everything to her by Monday, December 9.

The Harry Clarke and William Hart scholarships are now available online through on link on our school scholarship page. You are eligible to apply if you plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college, have financial need, and are a good all around student. Please apply if you meet these requirements and want a chance to win $1000 - $2000.
