SAT word of the day is munificent (myoo NIF uh sunt).  The meaning of munificent is very generous, lavish. Example: The Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care Jack and Shirley Robbins Center in Hudson is named after the Robbins because of the munificent gift to Hospice.

Quote of the Day: “Thankfulness is measured by the number of words. Gratitude is measured by the nature of our actions.” David O. McKay

Check out the new book, Tell Me Something Real written by Calla Devlin. Three beautiful Babcock sisters struggle with the bonds that hold their family together as they face a darkness settling over their lives in this masterfully written debut novel. Their mother is ill with leukemia and the girls spend a lot of time with her at a Mexican clinic across the border from their San Diego home so she can receive alternative treatments.  As they navigate first loves and college dreams, the sisters are completely unaware that an illness far more insidious than cancer poisons their home. Their world is about to shatter under the weight of an incomprehensible betrayal.
